The Enneagram is a geometric figure composed of a circle, an inner triangle, and a periodic hexad (connecting points 1-4-2-8-5-7), symbolizing the universal interaction of the Law of Three (affirming, denying, reconciling) and the Law of Seven (the octave of development). Introduced to the West by George Gurdjieff as a dynamic map of perpetual transformation, it was later synthesized by Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo into a psychological map of nine personality fixations.
