The passageSpoken to a prophet who is under arrest in the court of the guard, in a city about to fall. The tradition notes the setting because the promise of hidden things is made in the one place where nothing is visible — the confinement is the condition, not an obstacle to it.

Wings Like Eagles

A promise of supernatural endurance and vitality for those who trust in divine timing.

The passageThe order runs downhill and that is deliberate: they mount up with wings, then run, then walk. Flight is the easy claim. The promise the passage builds to is walking without fainting — the least spectacular verb, kept for last.
