The Hamsa is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet embraced by Jewish Mysticism as the Hand of Miriam or the Hand of God. It features a symmetrical hand with two thumbs pointing outward and an eye situated in the palm. It serves as a potent ward against the Ayin Hara (Evil Eye) and malevolent spirits. Beyond protection, the five fingers symbolize the five books of the Torah and the invocation of divine blessing, power, and strength. It is a universal gesture of stopping evil while receiving divine grace.
