The Ten of Swords marks the absolute conclusion of a painful cycle. The dramatic imagery of ten swords in the back signifies a definitive end to an illusion or a struggle. It is the rock bottom of the intellectual journey, where the ego is completely dismantled by truth. However, the dark sky gives way to a golden dawn in the distance, indicating that this ending, though brutal, clears the slate entirely for a new beginning unburdened by past falsehoods.
