Pushing Upward places Kun, The Receptive, Earth, above Xun, whose attributes are wind and also wood; the Image takes the second and sees wood growing within the earth, rising steadily and meeting no resistance from the ground it comes through. It accordingly has the superior man of devoted character heap up small things in order to achieve something high and great. The Judgment promises supreme success, says that one must see the great man and need not fear, and adds that departure towards the south brings good fortune. The ascent is one of growth in its season rather than of a leap.
Light
Signifies steady advancement, patience, and the accumulation of small efforts into a considerable result; growth earned in its proper order and meeting no obstruction.
Shadow
Can represent ambition pursued without check, or climbing that continues past its season and beyond the ground that supports it; effort spent in blind striving.
