Grabovoi Numbers
Their originator was convicted in Moscow in 2008 of large-scale fraud, having taken money from grieving parents by claiming he could resurrect children killed in a school siege. The sequences resurfaced widely online more than a decade later, almost always circulated with no mention of that history at all.
