Transformation, Endings, and Rebirth
Death signifies profound transformation, the closing of one chapter to allow for the birth of something new.
Often misunderstood, the Death card rarely signifies physical demise; rather, it represents the essential, universal process of transformation. It marks the necessary conclusion of a cycle, the shedding of outdated structures, beliefs, or relationships that no longer serve our highest good. This card is a powerful agent of change, clearing the dead wood to make way for new growth. It teaches us to embrace impermanence and recognize that every ending is inherently the seed of a new beginning.
Light
Profound change, necessary endings, shedding old habits, spiritual rebirth and renewal.
Shadow
Fear of change, clinging to the past, stagnation, refusing to let go of what is dead.
