The Kingdom of God
Mark 1:14-15

God's reign already breaking in yet unfinished — tilt either way and one half of life is lost.
The Kingdom of God (or Heaven) refers to the rule and reign of God. Jesus taught that it was both a present reality breaking into the world and a future hope to be fully realized.
Light
It inspires believers to work for justice, peace, and spiritual renewal in the present world.
Shadow
Over-emphasis on the future aspect can lead to neglecting present earthly responsibilities, while over-emphasis on the present can lead to secularization.
